It's 10 years since the original Zombieland brought crazy action and zombie-killing laughs to our screen, and now the sequel – subtitled Double Tap – is on its way this month. Here's what'll probably end up being the final trailer, loaded with F bombs and slaying of the undead.
The new footage also plays with self-referential humour in a way that comes across as a little more Deadpool (not shocking, since Zombieland writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese would go on to the Merc with a Mouth), including what looks to be a fun return from Bill Murray.
This time, Wichita (Emma Stone), Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) are continuing to survive in the post-apocalypse – and now they’re taking over the White House. Elsewhere, this one seems to revel in coming-of-age tropes as much as slow-mo zombie killing – notably, Columbus finding an annoying blonde girlfriend, and Little Rock getting a weed-smoking hippy boyfriend. Could the family unit be breaking apart, to the dismay of Tallahassee and Wichita?
With Luke Wilson, Thomas Middleditch, Zoey Deutch and Rosario Dawson among the new recruits, Zombieland: Double Tap arrives on our screens on 18 October. Oh, and if you're after a trailer that attempts to mute the swearing, look below.
