When Zombieland first arrived 10 years ago, it already had a killer cast with Woody Harrelson in the lead, and Little Miss Sunshine herself Abigail Breslin tackling the zombie apocalypse. And then, of course, the intervening years saw Jesse Eisenberg and Emma Stone become some of the biggest names in Hollywood, each going on to their own Oscar-loved dramas and beyond. But now, the whole Academy-nominated (and winning, in Stone’s case) gang is back together for long-awaited sequel Zombieland: Double Tap. Here’s an exclusive image from the new film for your viewing pleasure.
If you saw the first trailer that dropped the other week, it looks like the gang – comprising Eisenberg’s Columbus, Harrelson’s Tallahassee, Breslin’s Little Rock, and Stone’s Wichita – are standing in the grounds of the White House, ready to face off against more hordes of the undead. Need a refresher? Revisit that first teaser here.
Double Tap once again comes from original director Ruben Fleischer, with Rhett Resse and Paul Wernick back on scripting duties, this time joined by Dave Callahan. Also in the cast are the likes of Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch, Luke Wilson and Thomas Middleditch. Prepare for brains to splatter across the big screen when Zombieland: Double Tap hits UK cinemas on 18 October
