The casting for the Zombieland sequel continues. With the new movie set to shoot next month, Avan Jogia is the latest addition.
With Ruben Fleischer once again directing, original writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick back on script duty and the first film's stars – Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin – rounded up despite busy schedules, the film finds our band of heroic zombie slayers dealing with new kinds of undead folk that have evolved since the original film and some new human survivors.
Among them is Jogia's Berkley, the sort of bad boy musician who is catnip for women of all ages, but not really to be trusted. Sounds like he'll be causing some non-undead trouble for the gang. Zoey Deutch joined the cast a few days ago, and Zombieland 2 (assuming it ends up called that) will be out on 11 October next year.
As for Jogia, he'll next be seen in the new Shaft movie, Son Of Shaft, which has a set a 14 January release for the States but doesn't appear to have a UK date yet.
