With the debut of the show less than a month away now, you might think that Twilight Zone developer Jordan Peele would be finished adding cast members. You would be mistaken! Deadpool 2's Zazie Beetz and Get Out's Betty Gabriel are the latest hires.
Peele has been hard at work on the new series, a re-imagining of the original anthology show created by Rod Serling in 1959. Much like that first show (and its lesser follow-ups), the new Zone will explore issues social issues, human nature and morality often through supernatural and twisty tales. The writer/producer/actor will serve as the narrator bookending each episode.
The new show already boasts a load of people popping up in the different stories, with the likes of Adam Scott, Allison Tolman, Steven Yeun, Tracy Morgan, Seth Rogen, Ike Barinholtz, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani and Rhea Seehorn among them.
Launching on the Stateside CBS All Access streaming service on 1 April with two episodes, the show will then arrive weekly from 11 April. There's still, annoyingly, no word yet on a UK channel, though Netflix may grab it as the company has with other All Access shows.
