It's good times for Zach Galifianakis. Fresh from unleashing several shades of weirdy beardy madness on The Hangover and a single-handed reinvention of the chat-show format using only two pot plants, Galifianakis is being linked with the Man-Witch role Jack Black signed up forand later left last year.
**Man-Witch **would see Galifianakis play a dude with supernatural powers who attends an all-girl witch academy with hopefully hysterical results. Production was due to start last January until Black's departure pushed it back, so if it's getting a restart, Warner Bros. could do a lot worse than pair up the comedy alchemists Galifianakis and director Todd Phillips. With **The Hangover **nosing towards the $270 million mark worldwide, it's safe to say they're so hot right now.
Other options for Galifianakis are Due Date, a road-trip comedy which also has Phillips attached to direct, and Say Uncle, about which we know absolutely nothing. Whatever he plumps for though, he'll have to juggle with the Hangover 2 which is likely to go into production as soon as is humanly possible. If not sooner.
