And so the casting news trickle continues for The Predator. While Monday delivered the first image of the main cast together and Tuesday saw Alfie Allen added, Wednesday brought word that Yvonne Strahovski will also be part of Shane Black's latest.
The Aussie actress is playing the ex-wife of Boyd Holbrook's military man, and the mother of his son (Jacob Tremblay). While Holbrook, Keegan-Michael Key, Allen and Trevante Rhodes will be former Marines who discover the existence of the dangerous aliens, Tremblay is drawn into the conflict because of his ability to figure out language.
Black kicked off shooting the film on Monday in Vancouver, and has a script in hand he wrote with Fred Dekker. As for Strahovski, she'll be seen in horror thriller He's Out There and is part of the cast for the TV adaptation of The Handmaid's Tale, which will hit US screens via Hulu on 26 April.
