If, like some of us, you thought the only good bit in this year's Clash of the Titans was that joke about Bubo, take heart. Sam Worthington, agrees with you, and promises** Wrath of the Titans** will have much more of the right stuff.
"I think we can improve [on Clash]," Worthington told Moviefone. "I totally agree the first one let people down, and what the writers, the director and myself are setting out to do with this one is improve. I want to take all the notes I've been reading on the net, and try to give people a movie they fucking want."
"The only point of doing a sequel is either that the audience demands it or you believe you can better the first one," he continues. "If the audience is speaking, it's like the old gladiator thing: they give us the thumbs up or the thumbs down. We want to stay alive in that coliseum as long as we can."
You have to respect the man's honesty, so let's hope those good intentions don't pave the road to Hades. Last we heard from Liam Neeson, there still wasn't a complete script, despite ten drafts so far and a March 2011 start date.
Wrath of the Titans, directed by Jonathan Liebesman, is expected in cinemas in Spring 2012.
