Match Point might represent something of a critical renaissance, but Woody Allen has never had that much trouble persuading young female stars to sign up for his films.
The latest to be added to the roster of Allen female leads is Michelle Williams, who has signed up for her first role since Brokeback Mountain. She’s jetting off to Paris to shoot Allen’s next film, an untitled project set in the City of Lights. Wait, isn’t that Blackpool?
Little else is known about the part or the film, except that it will shoot in the summer. Somebody let Heath Ledger know that he’ll be changing a lot of nappies this year- good thing he’s taken some time off to spend with the family…
