This has officially become a Project of Interest. Fresh off The Ghost, Roman Polanski is set to adapt the play God Of Carnage for the screen, and he's got an Oscar-licious cast for it. Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz and Matt Dillon will be starring.
What's the plot, we hear you wonder? Well, the story starts with two sets of parents meeting following a fight between their children in the school yard. Both pairs start by attacking each other's parenting styles, but gradually turn on their own partners as the conflict drags on.
It should be a (slightly) lighter project for Polanski after the high crimes of The Ghost, and will be filmed in Paris since Polanski still ain't going to be travelling to the story's New York setting. Expect to see this in an Oscar season near you soon.
