The first trailer for Bad Boys For Life, which reunites Will Smith's Mike Lowery and Martin Lawrence's Marcus Burnett, hinted at other themes beyond the usual vehicular/stunt/gun madness, but the new one leans into the idea that these "bad boys" aren't exactly young anymore. Check out the new footage...
With directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah stepping in to a franchise that once had Michael Bay's fingerprints all over it, the new movie acknowledges the passing of time, as Marcus is ready to retire. Mike, though, wants to keep fighting crime until he's 100, but when he becomes the target of some vicious new criminals, he'll need his old pal's help for one last time. That, and a group of fresh-eyed recruits including Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig and Charles Melton, who inject some new blood into the story.
Bad Boys For Life will be with us on 17 January.
