Since the heady early days of his career (in 2007, and Son Of Rambow), Will Poulter has been enjoying a great run of films, including work on The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader and a standout role in this year’s excellent Wild Bill. Now he’s scored another big comedy part, signing on to Rawson Thurber’s We’re The Millers.
The road trip comedy, which has been developing for years, finds Jason Sudeikis as a pot smuggler who is trying to make one more big score by running a shipment across the border from Mexico.
To help him with his ruse, he recruits a fake family, comprised of a prostitute (Jennifer Aniston) and a troubled teen named Kenny (Poulter) who agrees to masquerade as his 18-year-old son for cash. Naturally, things don’t go quite to plan.
With Nick Offerman and Ed Helms also playing small roles, Thurber aims to kick off shooting on July 18, with the movie set for release some time next year.
