We're more used to seeing them both on the small screen in the likes of The Last Man On Earth and Netflix's Love, but Will Forte and Claudia O'Doherty are busy working on a new movie. They've joined the cast of new supernatural comedy Extra Ordinary.
The basic premise for this one is the original-sounding tale of a driving instructor who must use her otherworldly gifts to save a lonely man's daughter from a rock star who has Satanic designs on the girl.
Maeve Higgins and Barry Ward are starring in the film, which will see writer/directors Mike Ahern and Enda Loughman making their feature debuts. "We are delighted we have somehow convinced an incredible group of actors and funny people we really admire, along with an amazing crew and some random folk that we just wanted to meet, to join our fever dream and make this mysterious romantic oddball ghost story love comedy adventure film," Ahern and Loughman tell Deadline. "The timely script obviously hit home as it shines a light on important, serious issues like that of haunted rubbish bins in rural Ireland."
No release date has been announced yet, but the producers and Epic Pictures will be bringing footage to Cannes next month to tempt distributors outside of Ireland.
