Hearing the title The Skeleton Twins, you might assume that Tim Burton is involved somehow. But in fact the new film is an indie comedy that will star Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader and Luke Wilson.

Director Craig Johnson co-wrote the script with Black Swan’s Mark Heyman, and it follows an odd, estranged set of twins. Maggie (Wiig) and Milo (Hader) went their separate ways years ago, but when they coincidentally cheat death on the same day, the shock makes them reunite and figure out how their lives went wrong.

While Maggie starts re-examining her marriage to Lance (Wilson), Milo goes to visit old flame Rich, an ex-teacher with a dodgy past.

Wiig and Hader, of course, worked together for several seasons on Saturday Night Live and have shared the screen in various films including Adventureland and Paul. Comic chemistry should therefore not be a problem, and we're looking forward to seeing how they work together as siblings.

Hader has recently worked on **The Do List **(written and directed by his wife, Maggie Carey), the Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs sequel, and two DreamWorks Animation ‘toons, Turbo and Me And My Shadow. Wiig has Imogene and The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty set for release next year.
