Wichita Becomes Knight and Day

First it was called Trouble Man, then Wichita, then Untitled Wichita Project, but now it seems Fox has finally settled on a title for the action-spy-comedy-thriller starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. It's Knight and Day.

Wasn't worth the wait really, was it? Still, it doesn't change the fact that we're liking the sound of the film itself, in which a blind date between Diaz and Cruise turns into a globetrotting, twisting, turning adventure, apparently with some sort of long-life battery as the macguffin.

Paul Dano, Peter Sarsgaard, Viola Davis, Olivier Martinez, Maggie Grace and Mark Blucas are the co-stars, and the director is James Mangold (3:10 To Yuma, Walk the Line). The release is pencilled in for next July, by which time the title may well have changed half a dozen more times.
