We learned last month that one key piece of casting had fallen into place for the White Men Can't Jump reboot, with rapper Jack Harlow scoring the new take on Woody Harrelson's role. Now we know that Sinqua Walls will be playing the updated version of Wesley Snipes' character.

Ron Shelton's iconic 1992 sports comedy followed Billy Hoyle (Harrelson), a man under pressure to earn some cash from wife Gloria (Rosie Perez) and the mobsters he’s indebted to. After pulling one over on fellow basketball hustler Sidney Deane (Wesley Snipes), the two join forces to con players across the courts of Los Angeles.

This new version has been penned by Doug Hall and Black-ish and Girls Trip writer Kenya Barris, and music video director Calmatic, (who is also the filmmaker behind another upcoming 1990s comedy remake, House Party) will call the shots and the plays.

20th Century Studios is behind this one, and the original movie recently celebrated its 30th anniversary at the 94th Academy Awards, with Harrelson, Snipes and Perez in attendance. Even if that's not what most people remember from the evening...
