Frank Marshall has revealed that he’s planning a biopic of US cyclist Lance Armstrong. A sports legend that beat cancer to win the Tour de France seven times, Armstrong’s story seems perfect for movie treatment. And Matt Damon has expressed interest in playing him.
But it would have a challenge of its own – finding a place in Marshall’s busy schedule. He’ll be working second unit on Indiana Jones 4 when that finally grinds into production, as well as adapting a book about Roger Bannister trying to break the four-minute mile called The Perfect Mile and working on a film about revolutionary jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt.
