There will be seven Harry Potter films made over the next seven years, according to a source at Warner Bros. Author JK Rowling, whose fourth Potter book - Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire - is published on July 8th, is contracted to write seven books about the young magician and the source claims all of them will be adapted for the screen, reports Teletext (www.teletext.co.uk). Christopher Columbus will direct Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone from the first book in the series. Canterbury Cathedral was recently approached by Warner Bros about standing for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the film, the offer was refused as officials didn't want the cathedral to be linked with the book's 'pagan' imagery and content. Meanwhile, the search is still on for a young actor to play Harry Potter.
