With everything about HBO series Westworld routinely treated as a puzzle wrapped in an enigma with a side of confounding technospeak, it's a wonder the producers let anything about the show loose before they want it to happen. But we now know that Lena Waithe, known for Ready Player One and TV shows such as Master Of None and The Chi (the latter of which she created and writes) will join the cast for Season 3.
As you might expect, there currently no details to be had regarding her role and how prominent she might be in the show, but she'll have a role to play as the story expands into the real world beyond the borders of the park as artificial life form Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) continues her plan to take revenge on humanity for the mistreatment she and her fellow "hosts" suffered at their hands.
With Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan still overseeing the show (even given their new Amazon deal), the show has just kicked off shooting on the third season, which has no formal air date, but should be on screens next year.
