With Season 2 headed our way later this month, the long wait for more from Westworld is nearly over. And though the show has wrapped filming, the team is still announcing cast members who will show up in the new run, with Tao Okamoto, Julia Jones, Kiki Sukezane and Zahn McClarnon all added as recurring characters.
They're not the only ones: Martin Sensmeier, who appeared in a few episodes last season as Wanahton, a Native American Warrior, will be back for more action and intrigue.
With the Host revolt in full swing, we'll see the fallout for the humans and their creations, while also being introduced to Shogun World, another part of the Delos-owned park. Okamoto is playing Hanaryo, while Sukezane is Sakura, two characters who will show up in this zone. Jones is set as Kohana, while McClarnon is a mysterious man named Akecheta.
In related Westworld news, creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy have released a video online in the hopes of combating leaks and theory hounds. We won't say any more than just... watch it. Season 2 kicks off on 22 April in the US, with the usual simulcast on the UK's Sky Atlantic followed by a repeat, both on 23 April.
