Last year, Amazon and the Blumhouse team joined forces to release a set of four films (two each week) that were unconnected but under the Welcome To The Blumhouse banner. This October, we can expect four more movies, and the first teaser for the latest offerings is online.
The new films are as follows: Bingo Hell, directed by Gigi Saul Guerrero and written by the director alongside Shane McKenzie and Perry Blackshear. When a sinister figure threatens the residents of a low-income community, a feisty senior citizen tries to stop him.
Black As Night is from director Mariette Lee Go and scribe Sherman Payne, and follows a resourceful teenage girl who leaves childhood behind when she battles a group of deadly vampires.
Ryan Zaragoza's Madres, with a script from Marcella Ochoa & Mario Miscione, sees a young Mexican-American couple moving to a small town in 1970s California, they discover some truly terrifying truths in the rundown company ranch they're been hired to manage.
Finally, Axelle Carolyn writes and directs The Manor, in which a malevolent force preys upon the residents of a sleepy nursing home, which promises gothic horror with a modern twist.
Bingo Hell and Black As Night will be out on 1 October, with Madres and The Manor following on 8 October.
