Warner Brothers just can’t keep its grubby hands from those book series.
Spotting possible franchise opportunities, the studio has optioned Scott Lynch’s fantasy epic The Lies Of Locke Lamora.
And sibling writing team Dan And Kevin Hageman have been given first crack at developing the script. They’ve already adapted Carpe Demon: Adventures Of A Demon-Hunting Soccer Mom for the studio.
Locke Lamora is the first of a planned seven-part series (must be a lucky number) that has already gathered gush praise here and across the pond. The storyline follows the titular con artist and his followers, the Gentlemen Bastards (top name) in the mystical canal city of Camorr.
