Warner Brothers is just piling on the comic adaptations today. Can’t think why – it’s not as if there’s a major event surrounding the world of all things comics going on right now in, oh, say, San Diego.
The next on the development slab is DC Comics' Deadman, a character with a somewhat unusual origin story; he’s a trapeze artist who gets murdered in the middle of an act. But through some dark power his spirit is granted the ability to possess the living so he can hunt down his killer.
Guillermo Del Toro and Don Murphy are producing the film, and are said to be looking to give the story some contemporary relevance as they search for a screenwriter. Will the whole trapeze idea stick?
