Ridley Scott has agreed to direct another sword and sandals movie and he's looking for someone to be his next Russell Crowe. Scott is joining forces once more with his Hannibal collaborators Dino de Laurentiis and Anthony Hopkins to direct a multi-million dollar film about Alexander The Great. Hopkins has already signed up for a major role in the epic, but De Laurentiis is looking for an unknown actor to take the lead role. "I would like to have big stars in the secondary roles, and get an unknown actor to play the part of Alexander the Great,' De Laurentiis told the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, reports ScreenDaily.com. He went on to describe Alexander as 'a unique human being who, like Christ, died at the age of 33 and had already conquered the world by the age of 22.' The film will be written by Ted Tally, who won an Oscar for his work on The Silence Of The Lambs.
