Chris Pine, who can currently be seen in the Lindsay Lohan comedy Just My Luck, is signing up to star in an untitled postapocolyptic thriller being developed by the Pastor Brothers.
Alex Pastor won the jury prize for Best International Short for The Natural Route (La Ruta Natural) at this year’s Sundance Film Fest and it’s there that Paramount Vantage scooped up the rights to his next film, which he’ll co-write and direct with brother David.
The film follows four friends (including Pine) who are fleeing a deadly virus in the American West but soon realise that the greatest danger comes from themselves.
