Ving gives away his globe

It's taken 56 years, but it's finally happened. An actor has tried to give his Golden Globe away because someone was more worthy. It was Ving Rhames, who won best performance in a TV movie or miniseries for his Don King: Only in America. He immediately gave the statue to Jack Lemmon, who he'd never met. "I want to say that acting is about giving and I want to give this award to a man who has given us so much," Ving intoned, getting all weepy. Sounds like Jack was pretty close to alright...
