Vince Vaughn hates love and anyone in it. Okay, maybe not (he did, after all, just get married). But he's clearly not done exploring what can go wrong with relationships, lining up a new project on infidelity with Ron Howard.
Universal is slotting the pieces into place for Howard to direct and Vaughn to star in a new, yet-to-be titled movie, based on an idea by the actor, with 21 scribe Allan Loeb behind the keyboard for a plot that follows one man's problems when he learns his best friend's wife is cheating.
That's about all the details we have for the film, aside from the fact that The Hollywood Reporter has it shooting early this year and that it'll tackle similar comedy/drama themes to The Break-Up.
Oh, and it also drops the extra morsel that Couples Retreat apparently had darker moments" that were left on the cutting room floor. Dunno about you, but we think that leaving them in might have made for a better movie...
