Vince Vaughn and Peter Billingsley’s last comedy collaboration as actor and director, 2009's Couples Retreat, wasn’t exactly the winning combo we hoped for, but it did solid business around the world. Now the two are reuniting for a new project, graphic novel adaptation **Term Life.

A.J. Lieberman’s Image Comics title follows Nick Barrow, who plans heists and comes up with tricks for career criminals. Unfortunately for him, he’s managed to annoy just about everyone, especially when one of the most recent crimes he helped plan goes bad.

With mob bosses, corrupt cops and hit men on his trail, Nick decides he wants to finally do something good and takes out a big life insurance policy out on himself, payable to his estranged daughter. There’s just one small hitch: it takes 21 days to take effect, and he’ll be lucky to live 21 hours… While there’s no mention of a writer, the Wrap reports that Universal wants this one shooting in January.

Vaughn is back on our screens on July 3 with The Internship, and has The Delivery Man set to arrive on October 11.
