Sir Sean Connery is voicing his first ever animated character.

Sir Billi The Vet is a 3D CG animated short about an eccentric vet working in a remote Scottish village.

It’s being produced by indie company Glasgow Animation and will also feature the voices of Alan Cumming, Miriam Margolyes, Richard Briers, Ruby Wax and Gail Porter.

The story focuses on the adventures of Sir Billi (Connery) and a goat (Cumming) that thinks it's a dog, who set out on a highland adventure to rescue a rambunctious rabbit.

Expect it to hit festivals next year.
