The cast for DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom Of Doom just continues to grow larger as the secrets of the new characters begin to leak out. The company has just announced that Michelle Yeoh, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Victor Garber are all signed on to voice critters in the sequel.

Yeoh will play The Soothsayer, who also happens to be a goat, while Van Damme and Garber are two new Masters, Croc and Thundering Rhino, respectively.

The latest press release also confirms Gary Oldman’s involvementand clarifies his character; while he’s definitely a peacock and the movie’s villain, his name is Lord Shen. He commands a group of bandits that Po (Jack Black) must fight against.

The likes of Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, David Cross and James Hong are all returning from the first film.

"In the sequel, Po goes on an amazing personal journey and we are thrilled to have assembled such a talented and well-respected group of actors to bring to life our new characters, who – alongside our returning cast – play such a critical role in Po's quest and his ultimate triumph over the forces of evil," said Panda producer Melissa Cobb in the official statement.

The movie is also on the move, having shifted to May 27 next year (in the US at least, which would put it squarely on the lucrative Memorial Day holiday weekend). Over here, it’s still currently locked into June 24.
