You can almost feel your hairs prickling with excitement can't you? The force is strong and, for the last time, it's building in anticipation of a Star Wars release. Episode III is well under way, you see, and a first draft should be winging its way to Skywalker Ranch any day now. 'We get our preliminary first draft of the script next week, which we're very excited about,' says Producer Rick McCallum in an email to the films' fan population. McCallum is currently in charge of preparing Fox Studios Australia for an influx of stormtroopers and Jedi Knights in a couple of months time.'We're currently on schedule to begin on or around June 30, finishing some time in September.' Once the script hits the deck at the ranch, the bearded one himself will be taking over story duties. 'George will be rewriting to a more formal first draft and will keep revising right up until the start of shooting,' McCallum explains. 'The story he wants to tell is firmly in his head. All the details are stored away in there, without a lot of influence from anyone else. He's been talking a lot about how this movie fits with Episode IV in some very cool and unexpected ways.' Meanwhile, the film's stars are already in training; 'Hayden is coming shortly to begin massive rehearsals, stunt rehearsals. We expect Ewan in the next 4-5 weeks. He's starting to work on all the fight sequences in the movie which I think will be extraordinary.' Trying...very...hard...not...to...appear... too...excited...
