Urban Pathfinder

Karl Urban, regular Empire Online reader (hi, Karl!) and star of Lord of the Rings, The Bourne Supremacy and the upcoming Doom, is in talks to star in a Viking epic called Pathfinder. But for those expecting another The 13th Warrior, think again: this has a little bit of a twist. In theory, Pathfinder is a remake of a 1987 Norweigan film from director Nils Gaup (Best. Name. Ever.). But while that film was set around 1000AD, following the warlike Viking tribes as they raped, pillaged, conquered and generally made a nuisance of themselves, this one is set on the rather quieter shores of North America, which the Vikings discovered some 500 years before Columbus.
