Even if Deadpool is going PG-13, it looks like Once Upon A Deadpool won’t be any less, well, Deadpool-y. The fourth wall-shattering sort-of-hero is due to star in a remixed version of Deadpool 2 that drops the F-bombs, but brings in brand new footage – most of which seems to revolve around Fred Savage, aka the kid (now grown man) from The Princess Bride. And it doesn’t seem like he’s there by his own free will – as the first Once Upon A Deadpool trailer reveals, Mr. Pool has kidnapped the former child actor in order to subject him to an altogether different bedtime story.

This is looking like a fresh treat for fans of Wade Wilson’s motor-mouthed antics – though arguably the funniest thing here is Savage’s, er, savage assessment of Fox’s Marvel output: “You’re ‘Marvel-licensed-by-Fox’, it’s like if The Beatles were produced by Nickelback – it’s music, but it sucks!”

The film is getting a one-night-only engagement in UK cinemas on December 11, so get ready to snap up tickets when they hit the box office.
