Universal has picked up a pitch script from a pair of writers and, in a shock move, has also revealed the plot.

Shy Guy, by Dan Greaney and Jeff Poliquin, focuses on a nervous, socially awkward bookbinder who tries to resist his party animal brother’s attempts to get him to loosen up.

Jay Roach’s Everyman Pictures are producing – which means Roach may direct – and the writing team certainly know funny. Greaney is a 10-year veteran of The Simpsons and both contributed to Borat.
