Just when you thought we'd had to say a final goodbye to quirksome comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, prepare to do a Titus gasp as Kimmy and the gang are coming back! For a one-off special, at least.

And looking to actually inject the "special" into "one-off special", the new episode will tear a page out of Black Mirror's book and go with a choose-your-own path format. Which seems odd for a comedy show, but actually might work in Kimmy's weird world.

"We're thrilled to announce that we’re about to start production on an all-new interactive Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt special, set to debut on Netflix in 2020,"co-creator Tina Fey said on Wednesday. "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was one of the first original comedy series on Netflix, and now it will be its first interactive comedy event. Fans will be able to make choices on behalf of our characters, taking different story paths with, of course, different jokes. I think it’s a great fit for our show and will be a great way to officially complete the series."

Castmembers including Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess, Carol Kane and Jane Krakowski will all be back for the new show, scheduled to shoot this year with Fey, fellow creator Robert Carlock and producer/composer/director Jeff Richmond all involved. As Fey announced, it'll hit the streaming service next year.
