Netflix just keeps on announcing new series, at such a rate that you have to wonder if the company will be premiering two a day let along multiple shows a week. The latest is supernatural thriller Chambers, with Uma Thurman on to star.
Leah Rachel created and will serve as one of the main writers on the show, running it alongside Akela Cooper, with Gold's Stephen Gaghan as an executive producer via his Super Emotional company.
Chambers finds a young heart attack survivor digging into the mysterious past of the transplanted heart that helped her stay alive. As she explores more about the donor, partly through the woman's mother, Nancy (Thurman), she starts to take on characteristics of the deceased... Some of which are decidedly dark and dangerous. As for Nancy, she learns her daughter might not be as dead as she thought.
Netflix has yet to reveal when the series might debut, but we'd expect it to appear next year.
