We've already had a look at the supernatural comedy drama series that Nick Frost and Simon Pegg have cooked up via their Stolen Picture company. A new trailer for Truth Seekers is now online, and offers an even better feel for the plot and the tone.

Frost is front-and-centre for this one, playing Gus Roberts, who when he's not working for a big communications company, leads a team of part-time paranormal investigators who team up to uncover and film ghost sightings across the UK, sharing their adventures on an online channel for all to see.

However, as they stake out haunted churches, underground bunkers and abandoned hospitals with their array of homemade ghost-detecting gizmos, their supernatural experiences grow more frequent, more terrifying and even deadly, as they begin to uncover a conspiracy that could bring about Armageddon for the entire human race...

Pegg, who co-wrote the show, is mostly popping up in a cameo as Gus' paranoid boss, Dave, while the cast also includes Samson Kayo, Malcolm McDowell, Emma D’Arcy and Susan Wokoma. It all looks like a lot of fun, and will haunt Amazon's streaming service starting 30 October. Yep, just in time for Halloween. You can read more about the show in the current issue ofEmpire.
