Tron Legacy Music Video Arrives

With the film’s release less than two months away now, the Tron Legacy promotional attack is reaching a peak, with Disney rolling out all sorts of new goodies. And it helps that among the Mouse House’s arsenal is music from Daft Punk, who have written the film’s score, a track from which is featured in this nifty new music video.

There are actually a couple of versions of this promo floating around the Interwebs – one from the NME kicking off with Michael Sheen’s Castor ordering the Punk boys (in their cameo moment) to kick the End of Line club’s mood up a notch – and another from MySpace (below) that features a more boring introduction and Castor mixed into the rest of the footage.

If Derezzed is anything to go by, Tron Legacy boasts a killer score in a year that has already seen impressive electronica from the likes of The Social Network. And while there’s not much new in the way of clips from the film, it’s interesting to see how it works with the music outside of the trailers.

Take a look at the vid below and let us know your thoughts. The soundtrack will arrive on December 7, followed by the movie itself on December 17.
