Another wrestling superstar moves to the movies

It had to happen really, if The Rock could make the transition from ruling the ring as a WWE superstar to tearing up the silver screen, it was only a matter of time before his fellow wrestlers followed suit. The similarly muscle-bound Triple H has signed on to a pair of high-profile projects, challenging The Rock for his title. Jornada del Muerte (or Journey of Death to you and me) will see the wrestler take up guns as part of a modern-day western from writer John Milius (he of Apocalypse Now fame). The film is the first to be produced under WWE Films and was apparently written specifically for the six foot four, 250 pound wrestler. The story will feature motorcycle gangs, drug running and vendettas - just about everything a fledgling actor needs. Triple H's second role will be kicking seven shades out of Wesley Snipes as a henchman in David Goyer's Blade: Trinity. It's early days yet but maybe The Rock should start looking over his (very broad) shoulder.
