If you are in New York between May 1 and May 9, you could do a lot worse than to attend the third annual Tribeca Film Festival. Featuring more than 15 world premieres, as well as restored and rediscovered old films, the Festival is essential viewing for any serious cinephiles in the Big Apple. With festival organizer Robert De Niro never very far away, and director and cast of many films on hand for screenings, it might be worth fitting in a few films between acting out Sleepless in Seattle on top of the Empire State and pretending to be Ghostbusters outside the New York Public Library.
