Tracking Down Identity Theft

A new futuristic thriller

Snoot Entertainment – yes, somebody named their company Snoot – has nabbed the rights to Robert J Sawyer’s futuristic noir novella Identity Theft.

While it sounds like it should be the adventures of a techno-savvy teen that nicks someone’s credit card numbers and buys a gold-plated chocolate fountain machine, it’s actually the story of a private eye based on Mars who has to track down a beautiful woman’s missing husband.

There’s no writer, director or cast yet, but Snoot (just can’t stop saying it) has set the budget at $30 million. And the company is already at work on a ‘toon adventure, Terra, which features the voices of Evan Rachel Wood, Brian Cox, David Cross and Ron Perlman.
