Toy Story's New TV Special Has A Teaser Poster

Last year’s **Toy Story Of Terror **was yet another wonderful short outing for Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang, blending their usual spot-on character work with a funny horror spoof. For their next trick, the Pixar team is adding dinosaurs – and who doesn’t love those terrible lizards? – for Toy Story That Time Forgot. The new half-hour TV special has launched a teaser poster in time for its panel at Comic-Con this week. Click on the image below to biggenerate it.

Drawn by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola, the poster features the proud visage of Reptillus Maximus (Kevin McKidd), the leader of a group of dino-toys our heroes meet and who turn out to be suffering a similar delusion that once afflicted Tim Allen’s Buzz: namely that they think they’re real. And when you have dinosaurs believing they exist, you know there will be trouble, especially for poor triceratops Trixie (Kristen Schaal)...

Featuring the voices of Tom Hanks, Wallace Shawn, Timothy Dalton (Mr. Pricklepants FTW!), Don Rickles and Joan Cusack, the special will be on screens later this year. For those going to Comic-Con, the panel will be held at 11:15am on Thursday in room 6A at the San Diego Convention Centre, moderated by pun-loving composer and Pixar regular Michael Giacchino with Schaal, producer Galyn Susman, director Steve Purcell and head of story Derek Thompson in attendance. And there will be a chance to grab the poster during a signing session at 1pm the same day on the convention floor.

Hopefully the new TV special lives up to Terror’s great start, and this becomes something of an annual tradition.
