Fresh from his third outing as John Wick, Keanu Reeves is about to add another iconic action hero to his roster of rollocking roles. Joining the likes of Neo, Jonny Utah, and Jack Traven, it’s time to make way for Duke Caboom – Canada’s greatest stuntman, complete with his giant handlebar moustache, a maple leaf-emblazoned motorbike, and his own catchphrase (“Let’s Caboom!”). Did we mention he’s a toy? Get a better look at him in the new Toy Story 4 trailer.
Elsewhere, the new trailer gives a fresh look at the plot – Woody and co. are on a mission to save Forky, Bonnie’s beloved arts-and-crafts creation – and offers plenty more of the classic returning characters, and newbies like the Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele-voiced Ducky and Bunny.
In line with everything else we’ve seen, this looks warm, fuzzy – and most importantly funny. Considering how perfectly Toy Story 3 wrapped up Pixar’s prize jewel, it’s a brave move coming back for another bite of the apple, but it looks like director Josh Cooley might have actually pulled off a worthy follow-up here. We’ll find out when it hits UK cinemas on 21 June.
