While he already has the majority of his leading cast in place, Christopher Nolan is apparently not finished filling all the roles in his latest, sci-fi adventure Interstellar. How do we know this? Because Topher Grace is now making a deal to join the supporting team.
Interstellar, which already stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Mackenzie Foy, John Lithgow, Ellen Burstyn, Bill Irwin and Timothee Chalamet, finds a group of explorers travelling into space and heading through a wormhole into another dimension. At least, that’s what the film appears to be about, although Nolan has typically dropped a cone of silence around the project.
Grace is being considered for a supporting role, one that will require the actor to be fitted with the Dark Knight director’s standard kill chip, which will deliver a lethal dose of poison to his noggin should he spill any details. All right, so he’ll just have to keep schtum. But if Nolan could manufacture such a chip and find a way to inject it into his actors, you know he’d try.
Interstellar is set to kick off shooting later this year. Grace will next show up in The Calling and A Many Splintered Thing.
