Clint Eastwood's certainly making some interesting casting choices for his next film, true-life terrorism tale The 15:17 To Paris. He's already hired the real-life American travellers involved in the story to play themselves and now he's adding Tony Hale and Thomas Lennon to the roster.

The 15:17 To Paris will follow what happened when Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos and Spencer Stone helped to stop an ISIS terrorist attack their train. They were traveling between Brussels and Paris when the man boarded. Armed with an AK-47 and loaded up with ammo, he planned to kill as many people as possible, but the three Americans – Stone was trained in martial arts and an airman in the US Air Force, while Skarlatos was part of the Oregon National Guard – charged the man and overpowered him.

Dorothy Blyskal's script, adapted from the book the men wrote with Jeffrey E. Stern, follows their lives leading up to the attack. Hale and Lennon, usually found in the comedy likes of Veep and We're The Millers, will be playing the gym teacher and headmaster respectively of the school where the three attended school as kids. Paul-Mikel Williams, Max Ivutin, Bryce Gheisa, Cole Eichenberger, and William Jennings are playing the main characters at younger points in their lives, with Jenna Fischer and Judy Greer also in the ensemble.

Eastwood should be shooting soon, but there's no clue yet as to when the movie will be out in cinemas.
