After a few years drifting in the ether as more of a rumour than a reality, Hocus Pocus 2 is now shooting. And while Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy are all returning, there will also be the likes of Tony Hale, Sam Richardson and Hannah Waddingham in the cast.
Anne Fletcher is directing the film, which will this time focus on three young women who accidentally bring the Sanderson sisters (Midler, Parker and Najimy's witchy main characters) back and have to figure out how to stop them wreaking fresh havoc on the world.
Jen D'Angelo wrote the script for the sequel, which also features Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Escobedo, Doug Jones, Juju Brener, Froy Gutierrez, Taylor Henderson and Nina Kitchen.
We also now know when the movie will hit screens - TV screens, at least – as it's due to arrive on Disney+ next autumn, probably around a certain spooky holiday.
