Jon Voight, the real-life father of Tomb Raider star Angelina Jolie, has also signed up for a part in the film. He has just started shooting a week-long role as Lord Croft, father of Lara Croft, for director Simon West. Lord Henshingly Croft is an explorer and adventurer, much like his archaeologist/tomb raider daughter. Voight has come to London to shoot his scenes, but the plot details are unknown. Jolie has been in England for several months in training for her role, but filming only began last month. Voight and Jolie's only other on-screen appearance together was in the 1982 comedy Lookin' To Get Out, when Jolie was seven years old. Voight was last seen in Varsity Blues, and will next be appearing as Franklin D. Roosevelt in the Michael Bay blockbuster Pearl Harbour.
