While the future of collaborations between Sony and Disney over the Spider-Man franchise is far from clear at this point, the two studios are at least locking down a deal that means movies such as Homecoming, Far From Home and the upcoming No Way Home will be available on Disney+.
It's part of a massive new agreement between the companies, which will see Sony feeding lots of its films to various Disney owned services (including Hulu, the ABC network and FX, plus Star in the UK and elsewhere) after they have first played on Netflix. The streaming giant landed a deal with Sony recently, taking first position over any other channel or service.
Future films in the Spidey and other franchises (plus original titles) released in cinemas between 2022 and 2026 will be available following their own time on Netflix. So, for the first time, Marvel watchers will be able to find all the MCU-aligned films on Disney+. Spider-Man: No Way Home, meanwhile, will be out in cinemas on 17 December.
