Boasting the likes of Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Sebastian Stan, Bill Skarsgård and Jason Clarke, The Devil All The Time promises a swampy stew of deep south danger, as a young man looks to battle the evil he perceives around him. See the first trailer for the film...
In Knockemstiff, Ohio and its neighboring backwoods, sinister characters — an unholy preacher (Pattinson), twisted couple (Clarke and Riley Keough), and crooked sheriff (Stan) — converge around young Arvin Russell (Holland) as he fights the evil that threaten him and his family.
Spanning the time between World War II and the Vietnam war, director Antonio Campos' film adapts Donald Ray Pollock's award-winning novel, and the trailer confirms it'll be full of dodgy behaviour. But what is true and what is not? Is Holland truly a crusader? Or just deluded? The answers to that will have to wait for the film itself.
With Haley Bennett, Harry Melling, Eliza Scanlen and Mia Wasikowska also in the cast, The Devil All The Time arrives on Netflix on 16 September.
