Master of the unconventional and depraved, Ben Wheatley is back with another mind-bender. For his latest, he has turned to J.G. Ballard’s 1975 novel, High-Rise: a tale of complex social dynamics, endless partying and fading sanity. At its dark heart is Tom Hiddleston’s doctor of physiology, Dr. Robert Laing. Moving into a new apartment and hoping to keep himself to himself, Laing's plans prove futile when the tower block’s bizarre array of residents (including Luke Evans and Sienna Miller) keep making their business his.

This exclusive clip shows the meeting of two meticulous minds: Hiddleston’s Laing and Jeremy Irons’ Anthony Royal, the tower's penthouse-dwelling architect. It also throws up a lot of questions. How did Royal get his scar? Why is there a horse on the 40th floor? Why can’t we draw as well as that? And, more importantly, will we get to see a Hiddleston vs. Irons squash match?
For answers to all this, be sure to catch High-Rise on its March 18 release. And, if you haven’t already caught our podcast with Ben Wheatley (our live 200th podcast, no less), then head right this way.
