The Raid's Gareth Evans clearly feels like he's found a creative home with Netflix after making Apostle. He's now signed an exclusive deal to make films for the company, and for his first trick under the new arrangement, he's setting up action thriller Havoc, with Tom Hardy on to star.
Evans is on to write and direct Havoc, with the story set after a drug deal gone wrong. A bruised detective (Hardy) must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son, while unraveling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.
Of course, this hopefully means that Evans will still keep on making Gangs Of London, since that's TV – and he has a team around him to continue the show regardless. As for Hardy, he'll be in Venom: Let There Be Carnage later this year.
